Advances will be made against Gold jewels to the Nominal Members of the Bank at the discretion of the managing Director / Manager or any officer authorised by the Board from time to time. Such a person should be a good and regular customer of the Bank properly introduced.
The maximum advance to an individual should not exceed Rs. 5,00,000/-. However, this maximum limit may be revised from time to time by the Board of Directors in conformity with the directives issued by the Reserve Bank of India / National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development / Registrar, Co-operative Societies from time to time.
